Awkwafina An American singer and actress began with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of a series of raps. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. When she was in high the school, she focused on women's studies and journalism. She also studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. Not until after graduation did she begin to concentrate on music.
